NACCIMA assigns the Delta government to infrastructure

NACCIMA assigns the Delta government to infrastructureThe Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has called on the Delta state government to revive the state's trade fair complex in Osubi. Emphasizing the importance of a functional trade fair center, NACCIMA urged the government to collaborate with Delta Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (DACCIMA) to develop the existing complex and an exhibition center in Asaba.

During the Fourth Quarter Council Meeting of NACCIMA in Asaba, the National President, Otunba Dele Oye, highlighted the significance of the trade fair center and commended the hosting role of the Asaba Chamber of Commerce.

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Dr. Anthony Idigbe, who serves as the President of ASACCIMA and DACCIMA, urged the Delta government to establish an arbitrage commission for prompt resolution of commercial disputes and called for a review of multiple taxation, which he deemed burdensome for businesses.

Idigbe also recommended the development of the Osubi trade fair complex to international standards and similar facilities in Asaba, emphasizing the Chamber of Commerce's role in fostering development through private sector initiatives.
