In a statement on Thursday, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the chairman of the Lagos State APC, also praised the judiciary for the decision.
Ojelabi stated that Lagos citizens' faith in Sanwoolu and his team's administration was validated by the appellate court's decision.
The APC chairman declared that everyone in the party, including leaders and members, was thrilled with the appellate court's ruling.
"In my opinion, the court's ruling demonstrates the trust Lagos residents have in our political party.
This result validated the Lagos State Elections Petition Tribunal's decision, which sided with us.
"The Nigerian judiciary's diligence in reaching this conclusion is greatly appreciated by the APC as a party," Ojelabi stated.
He believes that the affirmation shows how the nation's legal system has developed and that it is a reliable and trustworthy institution.
"Every issue was thoroughly investigated, leaving no detail overlooked, demonstrating the depth and thoroughness of the legal procedure.
Ojelabi stated, "Therefore, we applaud them for their due diligence."
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Court of Appeal in Lagos on Wednesday rejected the arguments put out by Mr. Gbadebo Rhode-Viviour of the Labour Party and Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran of the PDP against the electoral tribunal's ruling.
The panel had already rejected Adediran and Rhode-Viviour's appeal against Sanwo-Olu's victory on September 25.
