Justice Hakeem Oshodi of an Ikeja High Court has issued a warning to the public, instructing them to refrain from leaving charms in his courtroom.
The judge made this statement during the trial of five men charged with the murder of Ifeanyi Etunmuse.
He emphasized that no one should leave charms in the courtroom, referencing a talisman found after a previous adjourned date in the murder case.
Justice Oshodi referred to the charm as 'property' and stressed that it should not be left in the courtroom, asserting that it no longer works.
The trial involves charges brought by the Lagos state government against the suspects for attempted murder and murder of Etunmuse.
The judge adjourned the matter until Feb. 19, 2024, for the continuation of the trial.
