Gunmen break into the Adamawa LG police headquarters

In the early hours of Wednesday, unidentified gunmen attacked the Adamawa Police Headquarters in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area. 

SP Suleiman Nguroje, the spokesperson for the Adamawa State Police Command, confirmed the incident, noting that the armed men caused panic in Yola. 

The attack was successfully repelled, but the identities of the assailants remain unknown. 

Another source suggested that the attackers were military personnel seeking revenge for the alleged killing of a military officer by the police. 

Investigations are underway to determine the motive and individuals responsible for the attack, as stated by Nguroje.
