Fifteen tankers parked along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway are impounded by LASTMA.
Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) officials seized 15 tankers found parked indiscriminately along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, specifically from 2nd Rainbow down to the Mile 2 Bridge.

The enforcement operation, directed by the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Transportation, Hon. Sola Giwa, aimed to address traffic disruptions caused by the improperly parked tankers.

Some were discovered within Mile 2 Estates, contributing to traffic congestion for residents.

LASTMA's Director of Operations, Peter Gbejemede, emphasized that this enforcement aligns with the law and will persist until zero tolerance is achieved for illegal/indiscriminate parking across the state.

Motorists were encouraged to cooperate by reporting any abandoned trailers or trucks to LASTMA.
