FG plans to feed approximately 10 million students with its school feeding program.
Over 10 million students nationwide will be served by the soon-to-be revived National Home Grown School Feeding Program, according to the Federal Government.

This is stated in a statement on the school feeding program that was signed on Wednesday in Abuja by Dr. Yetunde Adeniji, President Bola Tinubu's Senior Special Assistant.

When Adeniji visited the camp of internally displaced people (IDPs) at the Transitional Learning Center in Wassa, Abuja, she made this statement.

No child in a public school will be left behind, according to her statement about the school meal program.

The presidential adviser traveled to Wassa to check on the school food program funded by the non-profit organization Maple Leaf Early Years Foundation.

The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons collaborated on the program.

Adenij praised the Wassa initiative for its observable effectiveness in increasing student enrollment and attendance.

She claimed that it played a crucial role in breaking the cycle of poverty, promoting education, and reducing hunger.

According to Adeniji, the President's Renewed Hope Agenda school meal program is aimed at students in primary one through three nationwide.

Adeniji claims that the effort is in line with the belief that every child should have the chance to thrive and make a positive contribution to the advancement of their country.

She applauded the organization's efforts, stating that they highlight the critical role that nutrition and education play in a child's overall growth, regardless of their circumstances.

Such efforts, according to her, have the potential to significantly improve the lives of the most disadvantaged populations.

According to Adeniji, the nation's future is being built brighter and more prosperously by investing in youngsters now.

She also stated that as soon as the school feeding program starts, smallholder farmers will be hired to provide food.

Reiterating the goals of the school feeding program model, Adeniji stated that the program's objectives were to reduce poverty, foster equity, foster growth, and enhance resilience.

The school feeding program is essential to bringing the vision of Renewed Hope to life. In addition to its direct effect on improving childhood nutrition, it encourages families to place a high priority on education, according to her.

She complimented the NGO for taking the necessary steps to guarantee that schoolchildren have enough food.

According to Adeniji, the state governments will supplement the Federal Government's substantial financial commitment to the school food program.

Within this framework, she stated that President Tinubu's steadfast dedication to the country's well-being was demonstrated by the Renewed Hope program.

She states that a vision is presented for a Nigeria where all children, regardless of background or region, have access to wholesome food and high-quality education.

Adeniji expressed sincere gratitude to NGOs like Plane, UNESCO, and other stakeholders who have contributed to this admirable endeavor, even as he called for increased engagement with pertinent institutions.
