FAAN issues a warning on phony employment fraud.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has issued a warning about a recruitment scam circulating on social media. 

The scam involves fraudulent websites and social media pages falsely claiming to be affiliated with FAAN, offering fake employment opportunities and requesting payment for the application process. 

FAAN spokesperson Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua stated in a Monday release that the organization is not conducting any current recruitment, and no third-party agencies are authorized to carry out recruitment on its behalf. 

The public is advised to exercise vigilance and avoid engaging with these deceptive recruiters to prevent falling victim to scams.
