Due to noise pollution, LASEPA closes hotels, companies, and mosques.

On Monday, November 20, 2023, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) closed down a mosque, a company, and several hotels in the Oshodi/Isolo area of the state due to noise pollution. 

This is part of LASEPA's ongoing efforts to address noise pollution and other environmental violations. 

The affected facilities include Adura Agba Ratibi Mosque, Stag Engineering Nig Ltd, Green Point Hotel, 4 Season Hotel and Suites, Big Apple Hotel and Suites, Honey Dew Hotel and Suites, Humble Signature Hotel and Suites, and New Ground Hotel. 

Additionally, on November 15, 2023, LASEPA sealed Richbon Nigeria Limited, Keltens Nig Ltd, Elinta Suites, Dynatech System, Capello’s Bar, Jesus Refiners Fire Evidence Ministry, and Me & U Bar Garden in the Amuwo Odofin area of the state in response to similar environmental complaints.
