Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara has reassured his commitment to ongoing development projects in the state despite the recent Appeal Court judgment declaring the March 18 election inconclusive.
Addressing party supporters in Gusau after returning from Abuja, Lawal expressed confidence in winning the people's votes again.
He emphasized his determination to change the state's socioeconomic development narrative and urged supporters to remain calm and law-abiding.
The governor's remarks followed the Court of Appeal's decision nullifying his earlier victory and ordering a fresh election in three specific Local Government Areas.
The court found fault with INEC's reliance on the INEC Result Viewing portal, prompting the need for a new election.
