Defence Chief of Staff is still alive, DHQ explains

The Defence Headquarters has refuted the circulating rumor about the alleged death of Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa. Brig. 

General Gusau, the Defence spokesperson, dismissed the "fake news," emphasizing that General Musa is alive and in good health. 

The Defence Headquarters expressed displeasure with the unfortunate and unethical publication and clarified that General Musa has resumed his duties after an official assignment abroad. 

The online newspaper responsible for the false report has retracted the story and issued an unreserved apology to General Musa, his family, and the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
