Concern over the raid on its chieftains' homes is expressed by Kogi APC.
The APC's Kogi State Chapter has urged security agencies to conduct their operations in a way that is equitable to everyone.

The call follows security searches on the homes of a few APC leaders in Kogi East, about which the party has voiced grave reservations.

The APC campaign's spokesperson and director of media and publicity, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, released a statement in which the ruling party reaffirmed its support for all efforts aimed at guaranteeing a peaceful election on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Fanwo clarified that there shouldn't be a cause for insecurity in the state, saying that the election is for the people to decide who would rule the state starting on January 27, 2024.

The party "holds the hope that they are not specifically targeted ahead of the election," he added, expressing the Campaign Council's concerns about the "needless raid on the residences of some of our chieftains in Kogi East."

The statement goes on to say, "We hereby urge on security agencies to behave with professionalism, justice, and patriotism in order to uphold law and order prior to, during, and following the election.
