Biden granddaughter’s guard shoots fire during car break-in
According to reports from the US Secret Service, an agent working for President Joe Biden's granddaughter fired shots during an attempt to breach into one of the agency's unmarked cars on a street in Washington.

It was unclear right away if 29-year-old Naomi Biden was present when the event occurred in the affluent Georgetown neighborhood.

Presidential protection service agency spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi made a statement on X, formerly Twitter, saying, "On Nov. 12 around 11:58 pm..., Secret Service agents encountered possibly three individuals breaking a window on a parked and unoccupied government vehicle."

"A federal agent fired a service weapon during this encounter, and it is believed that no one was struck," he said, noting that the suspects had left the area and that "no protectees were in danger."

According to US media, the vehicle was a part of Naomi Biden's security detail.
