At 56, a former Senate president praises Yobe Governor

The President of the ninth Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan, has praised Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe for his notable achievements in education, agriculture, healthcare, and infrastructure development. 

In a birthday message to Governor Buni, Lawan highlighted the improvement in the quality of life for Yobe residents under his visionary leadership. 

Lawan, who represents Yobe-North Senatorial District, acknowledged Buni's commitment to transparency and due process, leading Yobe to receive the World Bank's Top Performer Award on State Fiscal Transparency, Accountability, and Sustainability (SFTAS) in Nigeria. He celebrated Buni's 56th birthday, expressing admiration for his exceptional leadership and dedication to progress and development.
