Over the past 14 years, Africa's Next Super Model, which was founded with the goal of providing long-term opportunities and networks for African fashion designers and models, has significantly influenced the careers of several aspirant supermodels. Starting off as a platform that gave out brand-new automobiles to the victors, the initiative has grown to include significant cash prizes, modeling contracts that are highly valuable, and exclusive overseas excursions that are paid for by the initiative to fashion capitals including the US, UK, Paris, Milan, and South Africa.

"Africa's Next Super Model's primary goal is to empower and introduce African talent to the international arena. We hope to help aspiring models and designers go into lucrative jobs in the international fashion industry by giving them a stage on which to display their abilities," Okorodudu said.

Similar to the last competition held in Kigali, Rwanda, this edition showcased a variety of abilities and performances. David Acekeyz (David Elumelu), a performer from Nigeria, wowed visitors with his performance, which he did for the second time. In addition to performing, Snake Eyes, a South Sudanese model and artist, signed with Isis Models.

Nigerian company Studio 24 and its CEO, Ifeanyi Oputa, gave the winner a $5,000 US donation. Other sponsors included Mr. Bright Toju Iyonsi of Nigeria, who is headquartered in the United States, Safaricom, Design Essentials, and Mysha.

Africa's Next Super Model is still a renowned modeling competition that honors the talent, diversity, and culture of Africa. It gives models and designers from all around Africa a stage to exhibit their abilities and originality on a global platform.
