A Delta SSG impostor was apprehended after scamming people out of N10 million.

In Delta State, police operatives have apprehended Samson Ibiloma, a 52-year-old Kogi native, for defrauding victims of over N10 million while posing as the Secretary to Delta State Government, Kingsley Emu. 

The Delta State Police Command's spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, shared this information in Asaba. 

Ibiloma was part of a syndicate specializing in impersonating high-ranking government officials and promising victims employment within the state government. 

The arrest followed multiple complaints from victims, and Ibiloma confessed to defrauding them of over N10 million. 

He revealed that the syndicate's leader, Stephen Odeemero, was the mastermind of the crime.

Ibiloma is currently in custody, and efforts are underway to apprehend other members of the gang who are on the run.
