83 Nigerian students are leaving for Morocco as part of a bilateral education deal.
Eighty-three Nigerian scholars have left the country for Morocco as part of the Bilateral Education Agreement by the Federal Ministry of Education.

These scholars, selected in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, will pursue studies in various fields in Morocco.

The Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, emphasized the broader plan to support talented Nigerians who cannot afford programs not readily available in the country.

The ministry has expanded its partnerships with several countries offering scholarships, including Hungary, China, Russia, Algeria, and others.

Mamman urged the scholars to represent Nigeria with pride, adapt to the new cultural environment, abide by local laws, and connect with the Nigerian Embassy in Rabat for support and guidance.

He emphasized the importance of making the most of educational opportunities and returning to contribute to Nigeria's development.
