Newgate University in Niger State held its second matriculation ceremony, administering an oath to 460 students, including the first batch of Doctor of Physiotherapy.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sadiq Yusuf, stated that the students were admitted into various Bachelor Degree programs across different faculties. Additionally, the university, through its talent development initiative, granted full scholarships to 15 students from public schools in Minna who excelled in their O'Level Examinations but faced financial constraints.
Yusuf highlighted the institution's commitment to innovation and holistic student development, emphasizing the importance of responsible freedom for the students.
The Pro-Chancellor and Proprietor, Hassan Nuhu, credited the school's success to the dedication of its management and staff.
The university plans to matriculate Bachelor of Law students in the third ceremony and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery students in the fourth.
