10th Representatives to bolster security agencies in response to security threats — Abbas

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Tajudeen Abbas, expressed the commitment of the 10th Assembly to enhance the capabilities of the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agencies in addressing the country's security challenges. Abbas conveyed this during a two-day post-inauguration retreat for members of the House Committee on Defence, stressing the importance of a collective effort to tackle the complex security issues facing the nation.

In a statement by Mr. Musa Krishi, the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the speaker, Abbas called for a comprehensive approach to national security and emphasized the necessity of strengthening the capacity of the Armed Forces and other security agencies. 

He affirmed that the 10th House of Representatives would actively support security agencies by ensuring adequate funding, providing modern equipment, offering training, and enhancing welfare packages for security personnel.
