Hajia Yaro pursued her Executive MBA at the London School of Business and Management in the United Kingdom, while also obtaining a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Relations and Advertising from the International Institute of Journalism.

Yaro, a resident of Maru Local Government Area in Zamfara State, previously held the position of Head of the Minimum Pension Guarantee Unit at the National Pension Commission in Abuja, prior to her appointment as the Executive Secretary of ZIPA.
In addition, she assumed leadership of the SERVICOM Unit under the Corporate Responsibility and SERVICOM Department. Subsequently, she held a position inside the Commission's Ministerial SERVICOM Unit (MSU), which is responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout the commission. The recipient of the 2018 Best squad A award was she and her squad. Furthermore, she subsequently assumed leadership of the Commission's Deceased Benefit Unit.
The individual commenced her professional trajectory at the Administration Department of Chevron Nigeria Limited during the mid-1990s. From February 1997 to August 2001, she occupied the position of Public Relations Officer at the Petroleum Equalisation Fund Management Board. Subsequently, she became a member of the Power Sector Reform Team (PSRT) at the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), where she remained employed until April 2007.
Hajia Yaro was involved in collaborating with consultants during Phase 1, which focused on the establishment of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission.
Previously, Yaro successfully completed her undergraduate studies in the field of Biological Science. During her secondary education, she enrolled in Sacred Heart Science School in Tunbridge Wells, England to pursue her 'A' Level studies. In 1988, she furthered her education at Hunmanby Hall School, located in N.Yorkshire, England, where she completed her GCSE. Furthermore, she has participated in numerous management courses, both domestically in Nigeria and internationally.
