The Jos Water Services Corporation (JWSC) in Plateau has initiated a customer enumeration process with the aim of enhancing water delivery in the Jos and Bukuru metropolitan.

According to a statement signed by the Publicity and Protocol Manager, Mr Nangor Ndam, in Jos on Wednesday, the acting Managing Director, Mrs Stella Buge, made the following remark.

According to Buge, the operation, which began on October 10 in Bukuru within the Jos South Local Government Area, is scheduled to conclude on December 20.

According to her statement, the objective was to compile essential data that would contribute to the enhancement of water provision in the urban area.

According to her statement, the proposed approach involves the restoration and enhancement of water purification facilities and booster stations.

According to the speaker, the exercise would result in the expansion of water infrastructure to places now without access to water, in addition to the replacement of deteriorated and faulty pipelines.

According to the managing director, the enumerators are scheduled to conduct visits to various locations, including houses, offices, business premises, factories, hotels, and schools, as part of the process.

The speaker implored the inhabitants of Jos and Bukuru to collaborate with the enumerators and furnish them with valuable data.

Additionally, she emphasized the need of council chairmen, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and community leaders in mobilizing community people to ensure the successful implementation of the exercise.
