The tragedy happened early on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Zazzagawa quarters in Billiri, where the late Yosi lived as an off-campus student, according to the Nigerian Tribune.
This happened just 48 hours after the brutal killing of Aishatu Abdullahi, a 58-year-old mother of eight, in the capital of Gombe State.
Before she was brutally murdered, the late Yosi Yusuf was a third-year National Certificate in Education (NCE) student from Baganje Town in the Billiri LGA.
ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, the state police command's spokesperson, acknowledged the event and stated that an investigation is already under way with a goal of apprehending the attackers.
The deceased's remains has been placed in the mortuary of the Billiri General Hospital until the conclusion of a covert police investigation to ascertain the facts surrounding the crime and apprehend those responsible.
