Tonto Dikeh, an actress, joins the APC

Tonto Dikeh, a star of Nollywood, has joined the All Progressives Congress, or APC.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), the opposition party, lost the actor.

The APC National Women Leader, Dr. Mary Alile, will formally reveal Dikeh later today at the national secretariat in Abuja, according to The Nation.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) ran Tonto Dikeh as its deputy candidate for governor of Rivers State in the 2023 election.

She and her principal Tonte Ibraye were defeated in the election by Siminialayi Fubara of the PDP, the state's dominant party.
