Tinubu's identity is not a concern, the APC tells Peter Obi
According to the All Progressives Congress (APC), it is asserted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not possess any issues pertaining to identification.

The national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Felix Morka, responded to the request made by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for President Tinubu to provide clarity regarding his genuine identity.

The APC, in critiquing Obi's position, contended that President Tinubu's track record as both an administrator and politician is indicative of his character.

The party's statement emphasized that Mr. Obi should be aware that President Tinubu does not require any form of reintroduction. The individual in question does not exhibit any discernible identity issue, with the exception of those fabricated by prominent political figures such as Atiku and Peter.

The 8.9 million Nigerian citizens who elected him to office were fully cognizant of his exceptional track record and achievements in upholding democratic principles, safeguarding individual liberties, and promoting social and economic equity during a period spanning more than three decades.

President Tinubu is widely recognized by Nigerians as a very competent individual with a professional background as an auditor and treasurer at Mobil Nigeria, presently known as ExxonMobil.

The President of Nigeria is widely recognized by the Nigerian population as a former Senator of the Federal Republic, having held the esteemed position of Chairman of the powerful Finance and Appropriations Committee during his tenure.

He is recognized as a former Governor of Lagos State who formulated and implemented strategies that facilitated the development and economic advancement of contemporary Lagos, which currently stands as the fifth largest economy on the African continent.

Nigerians possess knowledge of the individual for whom they cast their ballots, thereby electing them as the 16th President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The electorate cast their votes for him with unwavering trust and assurance in his proven track record and extensive capabilities, believing that these attributes would facilitate the restructuring of our nation's economy to benefit the majority of Nigerian citizens.

There is a clear distinction in the response of Nigerians towards Atiku Abubakar, as they have consistently and unequivocally rejected him, along with their denial of Peter Obi's candidacy in the last election.

Peter Obi, during his tenure as governor of Anambra State for eight years, could not establish any notable legacy. In addition to his reputation for presenting inaccurate and humiliating figures, he failed to achieve significant accomplishments that would be recognized by Nigerians.

Regarding President Tinubu's academic record at Chicago State University, it is important to note that the available information is well-established and substantiated, unless one's perspective is influenced by political bias resulting from the distress of electoral loss.

The official stance of Chicago State University has been consistently reiterated, including in a sworn statement by the Registrar, Caleb Westberg, that President Tinubu indeed enrolled at the institution and successfully completed their academic program with distinction.

The academic achievements of President Tinubu have become well-known among Nigerians, as demonstrated by the transcript released by the CSU. The transcript reveals an impressive record, with 18 As, 10 Bs, and 3 Cs.

The actions of Atiku and Obi, in expressing their concerns and spreading their arguments in the public domain, might be seen as disconcerting and disrespectful towards the judicial system of our nation. This behavior is particularly noteworthy as it involves the same issues that they have already presented before the court for resolution. The individuals in question have persistently engaged in the propagation of public deceit, assuming the dual roles of both accusers and judges within their own underlying agenda.

The use of mainstream and social media by Obi, Atiku, and their supporters to intimidate the judiciary, incite violence, disparage Justices of the Appeal and Supreme Court is condemned. We call upon all conscientious Nigerians to denounce this undemocratic and irresponsible behavior exhibited by these political individuals.

Our legal team is currently advised to thoroughly investigate all possible judicial avenues in order to hold Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar accountable for their continuous disrespectful behavior.

In the context of our democratic system, the position of the President is not occupied through means of intimidation, extortion, or irresponsible self-advancement. The filling of this position is determined by the citizens through their legitimate voting process, as was the case on February 25, 2023, when Bola Ahmed Tinubu was elected as the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
