Ahmed Aminu has been appointed for a four-year first tenure as the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) by President Bola Tinubu.
This was stated in a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the president's special adviser on media and publicity.
The most recent position held by the new PTDF Executive Secretary/CEO was General Manager of the Fund's Education and Training Department.
The former Executive Secretary/CEO, Bello Gusau, filed a retirement application and was subsequently appointed after starting a 90-day pre-retirement vacation on September 26.
The president has instructed the PTDF's new leader to serve in an interim capacity until he begins his next four-year term, which will begin on December 26.
