The World Cup qualifiers for Nigeria versus Lesotho and Zimbabwe have been announced by CAF.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play Lesotho and Zimbabwe in November in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match, which has been scheduled by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The dates were revealed on Wednesday by the Super Eagles X account.

The Super Eagles will play Lesotho on Friday, November 17, 2023, in match day one of Group C at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.

The Eagles will then travel to Kigali, Rwanda on Monday, November 20, for match day two against Zimbabwe.

The Benin Republic, Rwanda, and South Africa are the other teams in Group C.

The Eagles have defeated Lesotho four times in a row and have never lost to them.

In their seven meetings with Zimbabwe, the Eagles have won four, drawn two, and lost one.

The Eagles' playoff defeat against Ghana's Black Stars, a rival team, prevented them from making it to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Ghana forced the Eagles to a 1-1 draw in the second leg in Abuja to secure the ticket after playing to a scoreless draw in Kumasi in the first leg.
