In a statement released on Monday, the National Ministry of Domestic and Public Relations Affairs (NMDPRA) said that certain persons engage in deceptive practices, including the issuance of counterfeit letters of employment to unwary members of the general public.
In the interim, the agency has indicated that it is presently not engaging in recruitment activities and will not require any sort of payment for job placement services.
The NMDPRA has affirmed its commitment to adhering strictly to the prescribed regulations and norms of the Public Service Rules and the Federal Character Commission, ensuring that all recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with these established protocols.
The public is therefore informed that the NMDPRA will not conduct any recruitment activities without adhering to the prescribed regulations and criteria outlined in the Public Service Rules and the Federal Character Commission.
Furthermore, it strongly encouraged those who are approached for recruitment purposes to promptly reach out to the appropriate law enforcement authorities without hesitation.
