The Delta government contracts Julius Berger for $78 billion to build roads and flyovers.
The Delta State Government and Julius Berger Nigeria Plc have agreed to a 78 billion naira ($78 billion) deal for the building of three flyover bridges, a cloverleaf interchange, pedestrian bridges, and road development in Warri and its surroundings.

Invoking Julius Berger's remarkable track record in road construction in Nigeria, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who signed the contract on behalf of the state government, affirmed his confidence in their capacity to execute on schedule.

According to Oborevwori, Julius Berger was chosen not just because of their reputation but also because of their skill in building roads in riverine terrains, which is demonstrated by their successful projects in other states with topography comparable to Warri.

As a crucial element of his MORE agenda, he stated that the agreement represents a significant advance in his administration's aim to start an infrastructural revolution.

The governor also reassured Delta State residents that they may expect more significant projects in a number of senatorial districts as he stays dedicated to improving the standard of living for all citizens.
