This has significant importance to me, and I strongly encourage all individuals to make efforts and guarantee that no individual is deprived of the ability to see as a result of financial limitations. Based on current knowledge, it has been determined that an amount of N100,000 has the potential to effectively contribute towards the preservation of a child's life.
The President moreover expressed her administration's preparedness to provide instructional materials, for as braille books, assistive technology, and various other resources, to the populace.
The establishment of schools catering to visually impaired individuals in different communities throughout the nation is noteworthy. It is important to mention that the primary objective of these institutions is to provide visually impaired students with the necessary resources and support to achieve academic excellence and unleash their maximum capabilities.
Education is an inherent entitlement that ought to be universally attainable, irrespective of an individual's physical limitations. The initiative will also encompass other educational institutions through the provision of library resources aimed at enhancing students' reading habits and fostering academic achievement," she further stated.
During her address, Lion Ladi Aliyu Okojie, the former President, revealed that the club had received the prestigious best club award in district 404A2 Nigeria. She urged persons who possess a strong commitment to join the cause and contribute towards the improvement of Nigerian society.
