The Air Force headquarters revealed that, near Tumbun Fulani, individuals associated with terrorist activities were witnessed clandestinely placing jerricans into two military vehicles, which were disguised beneath shrubbery.
As to the statement made by Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), NAF aircraft were promptly deployed to intercept the identified site, which is suspected to serve as a significant hub for logistical operations. Following the military strike, a comprehensive Battle Damage Assessment indicated that a number of terrorists were effectively neutralized and the gun trucks were successfully incapacitated.

Comparable attacks were also executed at Tumbun Shitu subsequent to the identification of structures suspected to serve as hideouts for terrorists, which were found concealed beneath dense vegetation.
