Representative Danbuga has passed away.

Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, a currently serving member of the House of Representatives, has passed away. He represented the Isa and Sabon Birnin Federal Constituency in Sokoto State, under the political party known as the All Progressive Congress (APC).

According to a report by the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Danbuga, it has been confirmed that Danbuga has unfortunately died away on Wednesday morning following a short period of illness.

Aminu Almustapha, a representative of the Sabon Birni South constituency at the Sokoto State House of Assembly, stated that the individual in question was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Almustapha, the deceased individual's remains are scheduled to undergo the bathing rite at the National Mosque, following which they will be transported to Sokoto for burial at approximately 11am.

Danbuga is survived by two individuals.
