The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has apprehended a person believed to be involved in a murder case in Abuja. Additionally, the police have conducted operations targeting individuals engaged in the illegal trade of drugs within the city.

The disclosure was made by Haruna Garba, the Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), during a press conference when he presented the alleged suspects among other individuals believed to be involved in criminal activities.

In accordance with Garba's account, it was reported by Mohammed Rabiu of Nyanya to the Karmo Division that on September 23, 2023, at approximately 8:00 p.m., he dispatched his subordinate, Benjamin, to retrieve a phone charger from his vehicle. During this task, Benjamin was assaulted by Shaibu Ibrahim, who proceeded to inflict multiple stab wounds upon him.

The law enforcement officers from the Karmo Division promptly responded to the location and expeditiously transported the individual to the medical facility, where subsequent examination confirmed their demise. The individual in question was apprehended, and the folding knife employed in the commission of the offense was subsequently retrieved from their possession.

The initial inquiry indicated that both the suspect and the complainant, who dispatched Benjamin (the deceased) to retrieve his charger, possessed Toyota Camry vehicles of the same model and color, which were parked in close proximity to one another.

The deceased individual mistakenly identified the suspect's vehicle as belonging to the complainant who had sent him. Consequently, the deceased attempted to open the automobile door, at which point the suspect swiftly attacked him without seeking any clarification.

Regarding the operation targeting illegal drug cartels in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the speaker stated that on October 3, 2023, at around 4:05 am, law enforcement personnel from the Mabushi Division conducted a raid on a criminal hideaway located in Gishiri Village. A quantity of thirty-six (36) bags containing dried leaves, which are believed to be Indian Hemp, were successfully retrieved.

During the aforementioned operation, an individual known as Bello Ahmed, also referred to as Wizzy Bola, who had gained notoriety as an armed robber causing fear and distress among the residents of Gishiri Village and its surrounding areas, was apprehended. The suspect is expected to undergo arraignment in a court of law at the completion of the inquiry.

The Chief of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has denied the circulating narrative in the nation's capital regarding the disappearance of male genitalia. The police have documented more than ten instances of reported male genitalia disappearances around the Territory, as well as the increasing occurrences of violent mob behavior by enraged young individuals.

The prevention of loss of life and property and the restoration of law and order necessitate the intervention of the Police Command. Fourteen individuals who alleged the disappearance of their male genitalia were sent to a medical facility, where a qualified physician verified the presence and functionality of their male reproductive organs. As a result, the individuals in question were brought before a court of law on charges of providing false information and engaging in behavior that incited public disorder.

I would like to take this occasion to urge the citizens of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to advise their children and wards against engaging in the dissemination of misleading information. Furthermore, individuals are advised against engaging in acts of vigilante justice or mob violence, as such actions may result in the unfortunate loss of innocent lives.

Similarly, I would want to offer guidance to residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to exercise caution when selecting the cars they choose to travel in. It is recommended that individuals utilize painted taxis exclusively from officially approved car parks. Boarding an unpainted cab, commonly referred to as 'kabu-kabu', poses a significant risk as individuals may become targets of criminals commonly known as 'one chance' operators. The individual incorporated.
