In response to the ruling of the supreme court, Ganduje asked Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) to wait until 2031, when Tinubu would have completed his second term, in a statement released by his chief press secretary, Edwin Olofu.
He urged President Tinubu to work with Atiku and Obi to put the past behind them and reposition the nation for sustainable growth and prosperity.
Nigeria belongs to all of us, it is our responsibility as patriots to pool our resources together to move the country forward. I congratulate both Atiku and Obi on their dogged fight in extending the frontiers of our democracy and law.
