NASENI head says Tinubu's government is focused on development.
The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure's (NASSENI) chief executive officer, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, has reassured Nigerians that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu's administration will create avenues for the nation's socioeconomic development. He declared that President Tinubu would not waver in his commitment to implementing his eight-point Renewed Hope Agenda, which identifies key industries for economic growth.

Halilu made this statement at the youth empowerment and training program's closing ceremony for electrical installation and maintenance, which took place over the weekend in Owerri. He revealed that the training and capacity building program was set up with President Tinubu's unwavering support in order to continuously propel Nigeria's advancement in science, technology, engineering, and innovation as well as to improve the lives of young people in Imo State by providing them with the necessary skills.

With the words, "now that you have acquired these new skills, you now have in your hands the power to create economic opportunities for yourselves and even for others," he urged the 200 program recipients to apply their newly acquired skills with diligence.

"The President's emphasis on job creation and youth empowerment is a perfect fit with the objectives of this program," he stated. NASENI, a federal organization, is unwavering in its dedication to achieving this goal and giving all Nigerians new opportunities and optimism.

The importance and worth of technical and vocational skills in the twenty-first century cannot be overstated, particularly in a developing nation like ours. For individuals who recognize the importance and dedicate themselves to learning and learning again, the financial prospects are endless.

In addition to the 200 Imo youths who received training, Mr. Halilu stated that NASENI also gave 305 needy women in the state "305 Save 80 Energy Stoves," which were "designed with the aims of improving their livelihoods and contributing to a sustainable and energy-efficient future."

The governor of Imo, Senator Hope Uzodimma, expressed gratitude to the FG and NASENI for the initiative in his remarks and asked the recipients to return the favor by continuing to support the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government at both the state and federal levels in order to reap further democratic dividends.

"Let me underscore to the beneficiaries that this is an opportunity of a lifetime that should not be toyed with," he said. You are being urged to be independent and financially responsible by taking advantage of this instruction. The way you handle this chance that has been given to you will define where you end up in life.

"I personally promise that we would keep doing everything in our power to give Imo youths a head start in life. Furthermore, the Imo State Government will supplement the funds that NASENI will provide you with for the ladies.

"I want you and all Imo people to handle yourself while exercising your franchise as we head into an election in two weeks. Avoid interfering with the election and refrain from using any kind of violence. Additionally, I want you to make me proud in a way that ensures this generosity you've received today is ongoing. Uzodimma chastised them.

Among the beneficiaries who talked with The Guardian were Kenneth Ogbonna, Ekene Ihuoma, and Nneka Chukwueke. They expressed gratitude for the gesture and praised FG for taking the initiative.
