Elon Musk has rendered Starlink satellite services to Ukraine, which have proven to be crucial for the Ukrainian army. However, many individuals have expressed criticism regarding his remarks pertaining to the conflict with Russia.
Elon Musk is the proprietor of the social media network X, previously recognized as Twitter, on which he shared a meme featuring Zelensky on the preceding Monday.
The caption stated: "In a scenario where five minutes have elapsed without a request for a substantial amount of financial assistance reaching fruition."
In response to X, Mykhaylo Podolyak, a presidential assistant, asserts that any absence of vocal opposition or employment of irony towards Ukraine at present serves as a direct endorsement of Russian propaganda, which in turn provides a rationale for widespread acts of violence and devastation.
The tweet in question received criticism from Ruslan Stefanchuk, the parliamentary speaker of Ukraine, who derided Elon Musk's endeavor to "conquer space" and highlighted the failure of his SpaceX spacecraft, which exploded shortly after its launch in April.
According to Stefanchuk, the endeavor was unsuccessful within a span of five minutes, resulting in the billionaire encountering a multitude of predicaments.
The deployment of Starlink satellites by Elon Musk has received commendation from Ukraine, as they have shown to be a valuable asset in military operations by facilitating communication among soldiers in regions where traditional telecommunications infrastructure is non-functional.
However, Musk acknowledged that he intervened to prevent Kyiv from eliminating Russia's Black Sea naval fleet last year by withholding Starlink internet connectivity for the offensive.
Furthermore, he earlier incited dissatisfaction in Ukraine by suggesting that Kyiv should relinquish territorial demands as a means to achieve peace.
