According to a statement released by the Lagos State Police Command II on Friday, Olarewaju was apprehended by law enforcement officers during their patrol of the Otedola Bridge.

Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, has issued a directive for the return of the phone to its rightful owner, while simultaneously ordering the expeditious initiation of legal proceedings against the suspect.
The individual in question, subsequent to forcibly taking possession of the mobile device from the operator, endeavored to evade apprehension but was afterwards detained by law enforcement personnel.
The individual in question admitted to engaging in activities within the vicinity since the year 2018 and has previously encountered law enforcement intervention on two separate occasions prior to the present.
