Lobi Stars honor victims of the Otukpo heist with victory over Abia Warriors

In honor of those who lost their lives in the Otukpo bank robbery, Lobi Stars dedicated their victory over Abia Warriors.

At the Lafia Township Stadium, The Pride of Benue defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 in a Nigeria Premier Football League matchup on matchday four.

The meeting, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, has been moved to Sunday, October 22.

The triumph would be a relief for the entire Benue population, who had been plunged into sadness by the catastrophe, according to the club's vice chairman, Dominic Iorfa.

Iorfa prayed to God for a speedy recovery for the injured and for God to grant the souls of all the deceased eternal rest.

As a consequence of the victory, Lobi Stars moved up to second place in the NPFL standings with eight points.
