It's time to recover. Onoh celebrates Tinubu's Supreme Court win

It's time to recover. Onoh celebrates Tinubu's Supreme Court winDr. Josef Onoh, a previous candidate for governor of Enugu state and Tinubu's former spokesperson in the southeast, has invited Mr. Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to join forces with President Tinubu in order to start the process of mending Nigeria.

Following President Tinubu's triumph in the Supreme Court, which affirmed the ruling of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) that Tinubu was the lawful and legitimate winner of the March 25 presidential election, Onoh is feeling compelled to act.

"I hail and congratulate our President and our great party, the APC, on the Supreme Court victory," Onoh remarked in response to the ruling. It's time for Mr. President to go to work and reassure Nigerians that no cabal took over his presidency. Instead, he should keep in mind the hardships we endured at the hands of the previous cabal, which attempted to thwart his presidency and is the reason we vowed to never do so again.

"At this moment, Mr. President should concentrate on governance, exercise vigilance in his nominations, unite our party, make atonement, reestablish old friendships with sincere friends, heal old wounds, unite rather than divide, and correct past mistakes.

"Now is the right moment for him to lead a united Nigeria as there are no more legal distractions in his immediate surroundings, and Nigerians are searching for hope, suffering, and crying." It's time to get back on track in order to give Nigerians who are today devoid of hope newfound optimism.

"Despite all the political shenanigans, I have the utmost respect for H.E. Atiku Abubakar, also known as Daddy Cool. His enormous contribution to the development of our country cannot be taken for granted." We have to give him a lot of credit for persevering in his fight to fulfill his dream; it takes a lot of bravery, persistence, and commitment to travel such a difficult path. History will treat him well. I implore His Excellency to unite with President Tinubu by utilizing his tenacious efforts; together, we can construct the Nigeria of our dreams. I also want to express my gratitude and admiration for H.E. Peter Obi's unwavering perseverance in pursuing his goal in spite of all the overwhelming difficulties against him. In spite of the fact that Peter Obi's influence on a new political movement that may be flagrantly disobedient in the name of upholding their mandate has permanently altered Nigeria's political landscape, their influence was felt and their voice was clearly heard. In the same vein, I implore His Excellency Peter Obi to reposition his Obidients toward a common progressive way of thinking that will be advantageous to all of us.

"I also express my gratitude to the Supreme Court justices who overcame coercion, threats, and harassment, set aside personal feelings, and rendered a decision that will go down in history as benevolent.

Whether you like it or not, Asiwaju has become as permanent as Gibraltar's rock. He will always be in your heart if you love him and in your head if you despise him. He will always be your president, but now is the moment to restore and mend Nigeria. I have no remorse or apologies for the remarks attributed to me during and after the campaign, up until the ruling by the Supreme Court today in support of our President and Principal. Should he decide to run for office again in a future life, I will do the same without hesitation.
