According to LIB, last week's attack on Takania village in Kaduna State's Zango Kataf Local Government Area resulted in the deaths of the woman known only as Nnaa, her children, and three other people.
Samson Markus, the interim secretary to the district head of the community, claimed that on September 26, 2023, at around 7 p.m., terrorists entered the village and started shooting, murdering four individuals in one compound and two in another home.
"We were going about our daily activities when we heard gunfire; at first, we believed it to be the military; but, when we looked closer, we realized it was the Fulanis who had arrived from Zango Urban. They had been successful in killing six people, including two children, before the troops came. He claimed that when the military arrived, they fled to the hills and abandoned the hamlet.
