This was said by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed to State House Correspondents on Tuesday following a meeting with Tinubu behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
"Very important national issues with grave ramifications for security were considered in a closed session. It is the issue that Rivers is starting to face.
"There would seem to be calm in that regard once the president, in his customary leadership role, intervened.
He has demonstrated that he is a president for all.
"By stepping in today and providing support and comfort to the people of Rivers, a president for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a president for the All Progressives Congress (APC) have done so.
"I praise the leadership attributes of Mr. President on behalf of governors in states under the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) authority.
"I thanked him and congratulated him on the victory of the PDP governors who had faced tribunals. The governor declared, "We know that to be leadership."
Mohammed also praised Tinubu as a superb leader who did not subdue or dehumanize opponents with his enormous hammer.
"We think this is excellent, and moving forward, we promise to collaborate with him to help the Nigerian people have good governance," he stated.
The governor also praised the judiciary's professionalism and the way it has been operating under President Tinubu's direction.
Mohammed emphasized, "The judiciary is operating under his leadership with professionalism in conduct and manner."
