In response to the ruling of the supreme court, Ganduje urged Tinubu to finish his two terms in 2031 before seeking the nation's highest office. Tinubu is the presidential candidate for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP).
According to Ganduje, all allegations made by the opposition political parties that President Tinubu was the beneficiary of vote manipulation in the presidential election have been refuted by the ruling.
Ganduje said that President Tinubu will now be able to focus on carrying out the APC's Renewed Hope agenda for the benefit of Nigerians as a result of the Supreme Court's decision.
Ganduje urged Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to put aside their differences and work with President Tinubu to reorient the nation toward sustainable growth and prosperity.
"As patriots, it is our duty to combine our resources in order to advance Nigeria, which is our country." I commend Obi and Atiku for their tenacious efforts to expand the bounds of our legal system and democracy.
