Foundation: Women's empowerment drives economic growth
According to the non-profit Nerdzfactory Foundation, women's empowerment is a key driver of economic success in any country.

Ade Olowojoba, the managing director of Nerdzfactory Foundation, made this statement at the Lagos-based Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program.

According to Olowojoba, the collaborative effort has equipped 500 women in the 20–45 age range with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in the digital business environment.

Olowojoba emphasized that the program is a vital reaction to the difficult conditions that women, who account for almost 60% of Nigeria's impoverished population, confront.

"Building on the tremendous success of its predecessor, the Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program introduced a wide range of opportunities in the digital space to both current and prospective female entrepreneurs.

According to him, "the program modules covered fundamental topics, including starting online businesses, spotting potential digital businesses, social media marketing, customer acquisition strategies, raising capital, and efficient bookkeeping."
