According to Alimi, the implementation of the curfew was intended to prevent any further deterioration of law and order among the formerly tranquil and law-abiding neighborhoods.
According to the statement, Gov. Ademola Adeleke issued a directive for the immediate implementation of a 24-hour curfew in the affected towns.
