The appointment of five individuals to serve in the office of the president under the media and publicity directorate has been approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


According to an official statement from the Presidency, five individuals have been appointed to key positions. These appointees include Fela Durotoye, who will serve as the Senior Special Assistant to the President for National Values and Social Justice, Fredrick Nwabufo, who will assume the role of Senior Special Assistant to the President for Public Engagement, and Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe, who has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President for Strategic Communications.


Additional individuals serving in key positions within the presidential administration include Aliyu Audu, who holds the role of Special Assistant to the President for Public Affairs, and Francis Adah Abah, who serves as the Personal Assistant to the President for Special Duties.


Furthermore, President Tinubu has granted approval for the secondment of Akhigbe to assume the role of Communications Adviser to the President of the ECOWAS Commission.


The President mandates that all newly appointed individuals serving in the Media and Publicity directorate adhere to the utmost standards of civility and decency while interacting with the general public.
