The Nigerian Army has issued a request to the Zamfara State administration, urging them to provide sponsorship for its local residents to pursue studies at the two military colleges located inside the region.

As per Major-General Bello Alhaji Tsoho, the Commander of the Nigerian Army Education Corps (NAEC), the state of Zamfara is uniquely fortunate to host two Army schools, a distinction not shared by several other northern states.

According to a statement issued by Sulaiman Bala Idris, the spokesperson for the Governor, Tsoho made remarks during his visit to Governor Dauda Lawal at the Government House on Thursday.
