63rd Independence Day: Buni invites everyone to work on improving the country

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe has urged the populace to actively contribute towards the establishment of a cohesive, resilient, and wealthy Nigeria.

In Damaturu, Buni conveyed this information in his message on the occasion of the 63rd Independence anniversary, as stated in the document signed by his Director General of Press and Media Affairs, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed.

The speaker expressed his congratulations to the Nigerian population on their attainment of freedom and praised their perseverance in maintaining national unity while facing countless obstacles.

According to the speaker, each nation faces unique challenges, but Nigerians have demonstrated a steadfast and unwavering dedication to a unified and developing Nigeria.

The governor issued a call to the citizenry, calling them to demonstrate qualities of tolerance, accommodation, and sacrifice. Specifically, the governor emphasized the need of leveraging our diverse backgrounds and perspectives as a means to strengthen our collective togetherness.
