10 automobiles are seized by the police after "one chance" actions in the FCT
The Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has reported the impoundment of 10 automobiles believed to have been utilized in engaging in fraudulent operations often referred to as "one chance" incidents throughout the territory.


During a press conference held in Abuja on Friday, Mr. Haruna Garba, the Commissioner of Police (CP) responsible for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), made the aforementioned statement.


According to his statement, the vehicles were confiscated by the recently established 'Anti-One Chance Squad' of the command in order to address the issue of "one chance" activities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).


As per his account, a significant proportion of the confiscated automobiles exhibited the presence of tinted windows. Furthermore, upon conducting searches, various tools such as axes, cutlasses, and knives were discovered within the vehicles, allegedly intended for facilitating criminal endeavors.


According to his statement, the three individuals who were apprehended in relation to the confiscation of the vehicles are presently undergoing investigation.


According to Garba, three individuals were apprehended on October 8 by operatives of the command from Zuba Division on charges of armed robbery and kidnapping.


According to the individual, the apprehension of the suspects occurred subsequent to the reception of a distress signal regarding peculiar and dubious activities in the vicinity of the Zuba fruit market.


The police officers from Zuba Division promptly responded to the location and apprehended an individual who attempted to flee upon seeing their presence.


The suspect was pursued vigorously by law enforcement personnel and subsequently arrested.


During the process of interrogation, the suspect admitted to his affiliation with a group consisting of five individuals, commonly referred to as a gang. Subsequently, the suspect cooperated with the police operatives by providing information that led to the apprehension of two further members of the aforementioned gang.


The residences of the suspects yielded the discovery of two AK-47 weapons, together with two magazines and a total of 35 live rounds of ammunition.


According to the individual, the suspects are actively collaborating with law enforcement officials in order to apprehend the remaining members of the gang.


According to the Chief of Police (CP), a total of 62 incidents pertaining to the purported disappearance of male organs have been reported in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) since the initial incident was reported in Gwagwalada on September 21st.


According to Garba, a total of 51 individuals have been formally accused in court for the offenses of disseminating false information and inciting public unrest in relation to the reported disappearance of male reproductive organs.


The speaker expressed their dedication and readiness to collaborate with citizens of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in order to combat crime in its various manifestations within the region.
