When I spoke out against Naira Marley, the former Lagos Police PRO, Badmus Opetodolapo, I received criticism.
Badmus Opetodolapo, a former public relations officer for the Lagos State Police, has discussed the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Mohbad and the harsh criticism she experienced for speaking out against Naira Marley, a musician from Nigeria.

Remember how the police officer, who was well-known for being active on social media, criticized Naira Marley's lifestyle and his post about women's bodies in 2019 on her page?

In a tweet from the year 2019, Naira Marley asserted, "Having a big booty is better than having a master's degree."

The Lagos Police PRO at the time responded by writing: "So having a large body part is suddenly preferable than having educational or professional qualifications? This still hasn't left me! We must bring our system back to rationality and cease allowing public annoyance. Anyone who applauds a dead duck who is obviously a criminal and unproductive but is disguising his or her behavior by producing annoying music is mediocre at best.

"Let no one mislead you into thinking that having a fantastic physical part is great but that having educational or professional qualifications is more crucial! It is actually unavoidable! Your physical body cannot sustain you; only strong academic or professional credentials can. Be careful! Saying "no" to hard drugs and "drugs destroy"

Naira Marley, the proprietor of Marlian Music, which had previously signed Mohbad, responded to her by writing: "This instagram police want to have sex with me but she is really ugly."

According to the iGONG, Mohbad, who had occasionally called Naira Marley out for life threats, passed away on Tuesday in a contentious way.

After Mohbad's passing, Naira Marley and his partner Sam Larry drew harsh criticism after a number of documents and videos showing the pair bullying the late singer for leaving Marlians Record leaked online.

On her official Instagram page, the former Lagos PRO Opetodolapo responded to the issues by saying that she had backlash in 2019 when she spoke out against Naira Marley.

"I have so many tags on me, I beg you, please don't tag me. The appropriate authorities are looking into this.

My heart is with the dead and everything that represents him, she said, "but when I stood up alone against this character and the imminent danger it portrays, I was bashed both inside and out, a danger not curtailed will become hydraheaded."
