During his first meeting with zonal executive officers at the party's zonal secretariat in Kaduna, he made the comment.
The zonal chairman emphasized the need for unity and harmony in the zone to boost the party's fortunes in the area, according to a statement released on Wednesday by Malam Musa Mailafiya Mada, the zonal publicity secretary of the APC.

He committed to using his extensive connections and experience to strengthen the party's cohesion and unity among its members in the geographical region, assuring them that Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the national chairman, was similarly dedicated to seeing the APC prosper in the area.
Salihu Mohammed Lukman resigned on July 26, 2023, and the new vice chairman was sworn in on Friday, August 25, 2023.
