Tension as gunmen in Imo kill eight soldiers, police officers, and NSCDC employees
There is unrest in the Umualumaku community in Imo State's Ehime Mbano Local Government Area as a result of the alleged murder of at least eight security personnel by unidentified gunmen.


Soldiers, police officers, and members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps were among those killed, according to information obtained by iGONG.


The incident, which happened on Tuesday morning, has induced dread and increased tension among the locals.


According to reports, the attackers attacked and set fire to two security vehicles that were transporting the joint security task force team.


In order to catch the criminals and retrieve the bodies of the murdered security officers, more teams had been sent to the crime scene, according to a security guard who chose to remain anonymous to iGONG.
