Super Eagles can't disgrace us once more in the 2023 AFCON qualifier, says the Sao Tome coach

The head coach of Sao Tome and Principe, Adriano Eusebio, expresses his determination to exert significant effort in order to prevent a recurrence of a substantial loss against the national football team of Nigeria, known as the Super Eagles.

In the last encounter held in June, the True Patriots suffered a significant defeat of 10-0 against the Super Eagles on their home ground.

The two teams are scheduled to compete once more in their ultimate qualifying match for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Sunday.

Eusebio expressed his determination that his side would exert maximum effort in their next match against the Super Eagles.

Our purpose is to engage in combat with the objective of avoiding significant losses as we have experienced in the past. Eusebio emphasized the importance of avoiding the repetition of past errors during the opening game, as expressed in his statement to the media in Uyo.

In this particular game, our team lacks any compelling objectives to strive for. However, it presents us with an opportunity to experiment with the inclusion of unfamiliar players.

Sao Tome and Principe have been eliminated from the qualifying rounds for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
